Faculty of Social Studies includes several research bodies, the Institute for Social Issues and the Institute for Social Reproduction and Social Integration Research in particular. These bodies focus on the research of social exclusion, social inclusion, labour market problems, problems of minority and marginalized groups and on social policies related to these phenomena. Several national projects are under work (“Social Exclusion- Social Inclusion”, “Family, Employment, Education”, “Reproduction and Integration of Society”), cooperation with Charles University (“Social Integration”). The body is a member of CINEFOGO (Civil Society and New Forms of Governance in Europe – The Making of European Citizenships network of excellence (FP6 programme).
